Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens Wayfinding Design Package

For the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens, we developed a comprehensive wayfinding and interpretive signage system that enhances visitor navigation while fostering education and discovery.

Project Highlights:

Custom Garden Map – Detailed map illustrating the museum’s botanical gardens, key landmarks, and points of interest. Two 3’x4′ maps are located at the primary entrances to the Gardens. This map was also blended into a custom brochure that visitors can take with them on their journey. A mobile friendly version of the map makes it easy to navigate the gardens right from your phone.

Laser-Etched Marker Signs – Durable signs for plant identification, military tributes, and wayfinding. Designed for longevity and visual harmony with the gardens.

Wildlife Identification Signs – Panels featuring butterflies and turtles, blending education with aesthetic appeal.

Interactive QR Integration – Marker signs link to an audio tour and visual guides, providing visitors with a mobile-friendly, interactive experience.

This design package ties the museum’s identity directly into the visitor journey, merging artistry, history, and functionality.
