Project Details
Custom Signs and Brand designed for Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens. These elements were created as part of their recent four-million-dollar renovation. The mission was to create signage that helped bring awareness to them while highlighting their commitment to Honoring Veterans.
The new logo put the focus back on the Art Museum & Gardens. Previously, the word “Ormond” had been highlighted and it was difficult to read the rest of the logo. This new logo and supporting elements would be used to create the primary building sign as well as many other applications.
For the main street sign, the granite base was made to represent the continued support for all Veterans including those who started the museum in 1946. The Art & Gardens lettering are supported by that solid foundation, just as the Museum has been for the last 76 years.
The Donor Wall was created to take advantage of the 2-story entry way. This organic design draws you into the space while providing a backdrop for the Donor name plates. Other Donor signs were designed to be displayed throughout the museum using standoff letters and custom printed sign panels. Directional and other wayfinding signs were designed for interior and exterior use.
